Rules

Joining

Your Application must be fully completed before submission!
- If you have questions or need help, you may note the group or send a message in the group discord or Fluxer server and we will assist you.
- Incomplete Applications will be declined immediately.
- If only one or two minor details are missing, then we will point out the errors and your application may be put on hold for the time being
  - You must fix the issues within a month or it will be denied automatically
    - Re-submitting the application is possible, so don't worry!
Write your character’s information as comprehensive as possible and pay attention to the following:
- General information: name, species, age, and all required fields must be complete.
- Personality: include at least three positive traits and three negative traits, described in detail.
- Biography: provide a realistic and logical backstory. Include family, childhood, key experiences, and how your character became who they are today.
Premade bases or linearts are not allowed.
- Your Application art must reflect your own ideas for the character’s design, shape, and size.
- You may have someone else draw the Application art for you, but credit to the original artist must be given.
- AI art is strictly forbidden!

Strike System

The group uses a three-strike system.

Receiving more than three strikes results in removal from the group.
Rejoining is handled case by case.
Some rule violations (such as mistakes in the joining process) do not issue strikes.
If you receive a strike, you will be notified privately by an admin.
A strike will disappear after three months as long as no further strikes are issued in that time

Activity

This group has no activity checks and no mandatory events. Participation is entirely at your own pace, and all progression remains accessible to both you and your character. If your character has been inactive for a year, we’ll reach out to see if you still wish to remain a member—otherwise, you won’t hear from us.

If you choose to leave the group:

Notify the group before leaving, including a brief reason.
Remove your character’s Reference Sheet from the group gallery.

Behaviour & Conduct

Treat all members with respect! Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks are not tolerated.
Avoid inflammatory language, hate speech, or bullying.
Distinguish clearly between in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) interactions.
Avoid using IC content to attack, harass, or pressure other players in OOC spaces.
Resolve OOC disputes respectfully via private messages or moderators, not in public channels.

Contacting the Admins

You are welcome to contact the admins at any time. However:

Please do not contact private admin accounts on deviantArt, discord or Fluxer about group matters unless it is confidential information or you have received permission first.
All application reviews and group-related questions should be sent via note to the group or in the respective channels on the discord or Fluxer server.
Trust and respect the admins’ decisions. Appeals can be made politely if needed.

Artwork and Literature

Both digital and traditional art are welcome. To accommodate this, using group templates for application sheets, trackers, or memes is optional—you may design your own instead. Just be sure to include all required information!
Always give credit for art, writing, or other creative content that is not your own.
Do not steal, repost, trace, or copy others’ work or concepts without permission.
Originality is required. Drawing inspiration is allowed, but direct copying is not.
The use of generative AI for any artwork and literature (including roleplays) is strictly forbidden.
- if you still choose to use it, then you won't receive any stage points or coins for it
- a strike will be issued if use of generative AI can be proven or is admitted to

Characters

Your Character Sheet must remain in the group/server gallery at all times!
- If your application art or information needs updating, state this clearly in the artist’s comment instead.
When designing your character, stick to the limitations put on each kindred.
- Designs including rare or mythical elements will not be permitted unless a slot for a character with those features has been acquired.
- Keep the cultural and societal views of each faction regarding certain kindreds in mind.
  - For example: demons will be regarded badly in Eriwon, or faekin will be ostracised/viewed with high suspicion in Koruna.
- When designing a member of the Heranor family or a character with the Caspanas curse, you have to strictly stick to the outlined feature and colour limitations! Exceptions for the base design cannot be made!
Accessories added to your character in the Application Sheet should reflect their financial and/or cultural situation. Further accessories or major design changes must be purchased from the shop as your character levels up.
Small tweaks, like brightening a colour, are allowed, but major design changes to your character require the purchase of a glamour enchantment in the shop.
If you adopt a character from a group adoptable sheet, that character must remain in the group. Leaving the group will return the character design to Lilafly and you will lose ownership of it.
You may only have one character slot open at a time!
- For example, if you purchase a changeling necklace but do not create a character for that slot before your birthday, you cannot also get a Selkie Shell for your birthday.

⇒ Character slots cannot be collected!

To remove or kill a character, note the group and provide a valid reason. If you no longer connect with a character, you may discontinue them and swap the slot for a new character or for Coins.

Roleplays

Please write in English in order to ensure that all mods can always understand the context and can intervene in case of questions or dispute.
Characters must remain believable and play within their established skills, traits, and personalities. Mary Sue behaviour (a character that can do everything without consequence) is discouraged. Any significant personality changes must be updated on the character’s Reference Sheet.
Characters should act in accordance with their faction, culture, and background. For example, a citizen of Monabur would not insult the stars or king, and someone from Eriwon would be cautious around demons.
- If your character’s personality or goals don’t align well with a faction’s culture, consider choosing a different faction that better fits your concept.
Roleplays may take any form, but to receive Stage Points (experience points), they must:
- be uploaded as a text deviation on either deviantART, FurAffinity, AO3, or some other hosting art/literature site, or linked from the forum
- have the total word count stated clearly
- meet the minimum length requirement of 500 words per person
Roleplays containing mature content must be rated with the Mature Content filter. In group or event roleplays, all participants must either consent beforehand, or the post should begin with M and include a brief content warning (e.g., violence, gore, sexual themes).
- Explicit content, be it of violent, sexual or some other nature, needs to be roleplayed separately outside of the forum! If it is just one scene, then the rest can go on the forum and the explicit scene has to be roleplayed separately elsewhere.
Respect pacing! Don’t pressure others to reply faster than they’re comfortable.
Keep the scale and geography of Mereldia in mind!
- Travel between regions is long and cannot be glossed over.
  - Derenta missions are the exception because they can use Ley Line Gates and thus "fast travel"
- Moving between areas such as the North Lands, Koruna, or Eriwon should always have a serious and believable reason, and cannot be done casually in a story.
  - Ley Line Gates as shortcuts are only available to Caspanas familiar with how to operate them.
